In accordance with the Elementary and Secondary Educational Act of 2001, Title 1, section 118 (2), William W. Estes Elementary School is committed to involve parents in the planning and implementation of programs, activities and procedures in which their children participate.

 Estes Elementary School will provide information about the Title 1 program to parents. A Parental Involvement Policy, School Improvement Plan, and a Home-School Compact will be developed in collaboration with parent representatives. The staff shall provide materials and training to parents that will enable them to help their children be successful. Information and communication to parents will be provided in a language that they can understand, as is feasible.

Parents learn the standards for next year’s grade level, and they will receive packets of summer activities/suggestions to support student learning over the summer.
