Welcome to first grade! I am excited to be teaching first grade at
Estes Elementary! I love first
graders! I am looking forward to a
wonderful year.
I am proud to be a native of
beautiful Western North Carolina. I
graduated from Reynolds High School and went on to attend UNCA. At UNCA I completed the teacher licensure
program and received at BA in Psychology. I was a Kindergarten teacher at Avery's Creek Elementary for five years.
I have a wonderful husband,
King, and three fabulous children. My
son Spencer will be a freshman at
Appalachain State University this fall. My daughters Anna
and Caroline will be third graders at Estes. We enjoy spending time
together as a family,
hiking, biking, gardening, and enjoying
our neighborhood swimming hole.
