ebob kids team

The competition was fierce in each bracket. In the K-4th grade schools, Glen Arden and Estes advanced to the finals. In the K-5th grade and Intermediate Schools, Koontz and Black Mountain advanced. Estes had to play the first 3 rounds and beat Glen Arden (16-12), beat Black Mountain (13-12), and tied with Koontz (15-15). When Black Mountain played their other 2 rounds they scored 20 and 13 points and Koontz scored another 17 and 18 points. Making the scores Koontz 50, Estes 45, Black Mountain 45, and Glen Arden 36. This forced Estes into a tiebreaker for 2nd place with Black Mountain. They were only asked 3 questions per team and unfortunately Black Mountain scored 11 and Estes only 6. It was a great day though. The kids were super excited.
