Remi the Dog!

Welcome Estes Elementary families.  I am so honored to serve as principal of such a wonderful school and to continue the tradition of excellence that has been established over the years.

I am in my 35th year of education.  I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hanover College (IN) and my Master’s Degree from Gardner-Webb University.  I have taught and been an administrator at the High School, Middle School, and Elementary School levels which allows me to have a unique perspective as to how our students will need to progress.  Before coming to Estes this year, I was the principal at Haw Creek Elementary and Pisgah Elementary.

I have a wonderful family with my wife Jennifer along with 3 daughters.  Also, as you can see in the photo is my dog Remi who comes to school each day to take a bit of stress off myself, the staff, and students.

Our motto “Growing Leaders One Student at A Time” meshes with the fact that we are a Leader In Me School.  We will work hard to provide a safe environment as well as ensuring all students get what they need to be successful.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns at 828-654-1795 or at jay.dale@bcsemail.org.
