About the Program
Girls on the Run is a non-profit organization working to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Our 12-week program uses the power of running to empower girls and improve their physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social health and wellness.

Who?
Open to 3rd and 4th grade Girls at ALL fitness levels!
What?
Not just an after-school program or running program, but a comprehensive health and wellness curriculum for pre-teen girls addressing the challenges of adolescence.
Why?
Girls on the Run utilizes the power of running to provide girls with tools to: celebrate their bodies, honor their voices, recognize their gifts, and activate their power.
Goals:
Develop a positive self-image and stronger sense of identity.
Respect peers and cooperate in a group.
Build supportive relationships.
Strive for personal goals.
Improve health and physical fitness.
Celebrate being a GIRL!
