A group of Estes teachers have been part of a very unique learning experience. We have 16 teachers training to learn project GLAD. Project Glad is a rigorous professional development model based on a collection of research-based, effective classroom strategies. It focuses on an integrated approach aimed at supporting language acquisition and proficiency in grade-level content standards. We are thankful for Title I funding and scholarships from WRESA which enabled us to train such a large number of teachers. This group of teachers will share this learning with the rest of our staff.
